KP Housing takes great pride in treating our tenants and homes with respect. We realize that each of our homes is someone else’s home as well. Therefore, we follow a very detailed and extensive plan to ensure that our homes stay in fine repair and our tenants remain happy, safe and secure.

When you live in a KP Housing home, you can be assured that KP Housing will perform or do the following:

• Ensure that your home is up to code before you move in
• Ensure that all of your home’s locks are in good-working condition before you move in
• Ensure that all of your home’s exterior lighting fixtures are working and have working lights within them
• Ensure that all of your gas appliances are safe
• Ensure that all of your electric appliances are safe
• Ensure there are no plumbing leaks before you move in
• Annual home inspections
• Annual termite treatments
• Monthly changes of AC filters
• Give you at least 24-hours advance notice in writing if we need to   enter your property, except when an emergency repair is needed
• Make repairs as needed
• Inspect and touch up exterior paint
• Respond to any non-emergency requests for repairs within 24 hours
• Keep the rain gutters clear
• Annually inspect the roof
